Episode 6.11: Produce + Publish Your Book

From Prep To Print Series

Part 3: Produce And Publish

‘Produce and publish’ is a stage where your book comes off the Microsoft word document or google Docs and comes to life. At this point, you have committed, prepped, drafted, and revised, and now you’re ready to publish your book. In this stage, your book gets typeset, edited, and formatted into pages with margins by experts to look like actual book pages. You also get time to plan your launching and marketing and set up and schedule your preorders. This is where your work starts to pay off, but at the same time, it’s also scary because there is no turning back. You are done revising and fixing, and it’s time to put your book out there for the world to see.

Join me in the third episode in the series, From Prep To Print, a series of micro-episodes all about the four stages of the author entrepreneur journey. In this episode, I break down the ‘produce and publish’ stage to give you insight into what happens in this phase and how you can set yourself up for success. ‘Produce and publish’ is a fun time where you get the first copy of your book, and it’s what you have been waiting for all along.
